6/22 - Click's splint came off today!! YEE HAW!! The x-ray's showed that he has healed completely!! I am now doing a bunch of PT with Click to get range of motion back, and lots of swimming to build back the muscle he lost while in the splint.
6/20 - Click went to a nursing home today! I had socialized him with adults to babies, but never elderly or disabled people (Click says "sheesh, a person is a person!"). He was his typical perfect self. :-) I never worried about how he might act with someone who didn't have much control over their hands, had a "weird" voice, was on oxygen, etc. He loved up on everyone, gave lots of kisses, played tug with some of the more able bodied folks, and made several peoples day!! I'm amazed how such a high drive, crazy puppy can become so calm, gentle, and loving when he needs to. I am pretty convinced Click could get his TDI tomorrow if he tried.
6/13 - The pin in Click's leg worked it's way out and has now been removed. The good news is that the bone is healing remarkably well, and the cast comes off in about 1 week!
5/31 - Click seems to be recovering well and goes in tomorrow to have his cast changed and stitches removed. I'm hoping to take some pictures of him tomorrow, so stay posted!
5/19 - Click's surgery went well and he is now home, hobbling around on his cast. I'll post some pictures of him.
5/18 - Click is in surgery having pins and wires put in his leg. It is badly broken instead of just sprained as the vet thought, and now Click has had to live with a broken leg for 10 days. Poor baby!! I feel very badly that I didn't insist on x-ray's right off.
5/15 - Click is currently out do to a leg injury. I will post the results of his x-ray tomorrow, hopefully it will be good news!
